Here you see an example of Red Maps. This is a small american company that produces really practical maps for most major cities in Europe and the States. The great thing is that its basically just one fold-up big map (not a huge booklet), but eventhough its only that it has all major hotels, museums, shops, parks, etc. indicated and short descriptions. I think its the perfect map to carry around and it even looka rather stylish. Price is also not bad, 7.60$ and in Europe one pays around 8 Euros.
