The Wrong Gallery !!!
The Wrong Gallery is the smallest exhibition space in New York. The non-profit gallery has 1 sqm of exhibition space.
The concept of the original Wrong Gallery is to replicate the art system and radically transforming scale. A realistic 1:6 scale version in resin, glass, aluminium, with electric lighting designed to be installed in your wall.
The guys form CerealArt will come up with reproductions of the original exhibitions in mini scale to inset in the gallery as they becom available. Some will be exact reproductions, others will be just made for the Wrong Gallery.
On exhibit will be installations by Elizabeth Peyton, lawrence Weiner, Keegan Mchargue and some others. On the next release there will also be a Phil Collins one.
Quite cool idea these guys had here. I am looking forward to see some pictures of the first exhibits.
Enjoy,
David
