Warhol Factory x Levis!!!

warhol_x_levis

These are quite strange new things happening. Apparently soon the Warhol Foundation and Levis will create a line of Jeans and jackets together.

"The Andy Warhol Foundation and Levi Strauss & Co. have announced that they will create “Warhol Factory X Levi’s.” The new collection will be unveiled to prospective retailers at the MAGIC tradeshow in Las Vegas, August 29-31, 2005. The collection of jeans and jackets are embellished with imagery reflective of Andy Warhol’s more famous artwork and sayings such as: “Fashion wasn’t what you wore someplace anymore; it was the whole reason for going.” The collection will be available at various retailers next spring and priced between $190-$250 for jeans and $80-$300 for tops. This could either be pretty cool or a bit horrible, I guess we will find out when the line is unveiled."

I don`t really know what to think about this. The outcome could be strange. But we`ll find out soon. Via Luxist.

Enjoy,

David
