Reminder: Wordless 2005 this weekend!!!

wordless05_reminder

Here a quick reminder. I reported about this already last week. One of the hottest streetart events is taking place this weekend in Zürich.

This year WORDLESSTM, the only Swiss Urban Art show, will open its doors for the second time to offer a unique platform for local and international artists whose works are a crossover between art and popular subculture. During this three-day event the exhibition gives us an opportunity to explore a wide range of visual urban phenomena.
The visitor will fi nd works that range from street art, sticker art, graffi ti, graphic design to photography and fi lm animation. And in the midst of it all stands a skateable sculpture, a mini ramp inviting the visitor to show his or her skills. In addition to the show, a large selection of ephemera will be on display in the WORDLESSTM Shop.
This year the WORDLESSTM Lounge will open to complement the exhibition. A music program hosted by DJ Reedo in collaboration with ʻrundfunk.fmʼ will entertain the guests. The Lounge Bar will also be open daily to quench everybodyʼs thirst. The event program includes several workshops, a fi lm screening, a ʻsneaker-chocolate-performanceʼ, a party, and for insiders, the revival of the famous WORDLESSTM Brunch.

There will be over twenty artists and most of them will be spending their time at the show working on collaborative
projects or simply enjoying themselves competing on the miniramp.
This year the following artists from more than ten different urban areas will show their work:
+41 (Lausanne), 123Klan (France), BO130 (Milan), Casarramona (Zürich), Dave the Chimp (London), Delta (Amsterdam), Dessert Design (Zürich), Donovan Gregory (Zürich), Flying Fortress (Munich), Fred Mortagne (France), Galo(Amsterdam), Gomes (Hamburg), Güdel (Zürich), Jeff Curtes (USA), Jeremy Fish (San Francisco), Daniel Lahaii (Basel), Lozza (Zizers), Marok (Berlin), Microbo (Milan), Neil Stubbings (Zürich), Patrick Graf (Zürich), Philippe Dudouit(Lausanne), JMZ Jim Zbinden (Geneva), Reto Ehrbar (Zürich), Scrawl Collective, Steff Plaetz, Will Barras, Mr. Jago (London), STICK UP, NEW YORK!, Tanya Weiss (Zürich), The London Police (Amsterdam), WK Interact (New York), You are Beautiful (Chicago).

The list of hot names is endless. If you have the chance to check this out, do not miss it.

Enjoy,

David
