Honeyee, Honeyee, Honeyee!!!!

Picture 1

Today I went on my regular visit of Honeyee and was surprised by a redesign of the website. It is now much easier to navigate, especially for us non-japanese speakers. The front page now informs right away on new happenings in all categories and the blogs page has also been reworked. Now to some news from them.

Picture 2

Taschen, the book publisher known for its extremely stylish artbooks and special editions now opened their flagship store in Tokyo. After Paris, New York and L.A. now they also have the Tokyo location. Above a first impression with the very rare huge Helmut Newton book on the especially for this book designed Philip Starck stand.

Picture 4

Last but not least, Honeyee has a nice feature up on BaseStation, the very simplistic basics brands from Japan. It is kind of like a cooler and more diversified American Apparel. Hiroshi Fujiwara talks about the brand and shows off some of the hot products. Nice to look at.

Enjoy,

David
