Vortigerns Machine...

Picture 5

Vortigern's Machine and the Great Sage of Wisdom is a James Jarvis illustrated storybook in the tradition of the Adventures of Tin Tin or Asterix the Gaul. Co-written by James Jarvis and Russell Waterman, it tells the story of two friends, Rusty and Wiggs, and how, while wandering through their urban environment, they uncover some of life's most pressing metaphysical questions. To answer these questions they visit their friend and mentor, Mr Vortigern who introduces them to a magic slide projector. Through this machine they are transported to a jungle land far away where they embark on a fantasy adventure in a quest to find The Great Sage of Wisdom. On their journey they encounter many fantastical characters including a tribe of Hippies, a giant ape called King Ken, a bunch of murderous monks and a troll called Kevin.
Part Monty Python and the Holy Grail and part Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, Vortigern's Machine is an epic comic adventure that will appeal to grown up children of all ages.

Throughout 2006 Amos Novelties will continue to release additions in the soft vinyl series of figures that accompanies the book. 2005 saw the release of Vortigern, Harvey and Jubs. In 2006 Amos will release the boy Rusty and the family dog Dworkin, the explorer Mr Waverly, the boy Wiggs complete with his precious keys, and the terrible Witch Doctor with his ceremonial snake. There are also plans for two other releases for the end of the year to be announced at a later date.

Now for presale at Bond International.

Enjoy,

David
